This abalone pearl ring sets a 10mm round stone in sterling silver. It’s delicate and understated, an everyday piece that still carries the shimmer of natural abalone. The pearl was found in the cold Pacific off Mendocino, California, and its surface moves through blue, green and silver as the light shifts. Richard Lewis handcrafts each ring in Santa Rosa, keeping the silver setting clean so the stone’s color stays the star.
Every abalone pearl is shaped by nature alone, so no two match and this ring is genuinely one of a kind. It’s crafted in solid sterling silver and comes in US ring sizes 3 through 7. Abalone is a soft, organic gem, so treat it gently: keep it away from perfume, hairspray and household chemicals, never use an ultrasonic cleaner, and store it on its own, apart from harder stones.
