Opal Rings

Every opal ring here is handcrafted by Richard Lewis around a single natural opal, so no two are alike. Most are Australian opals from the Coober Pedy and Lambina fields, known for play-of-color that shifts as your hand moves, along with some bright Ethiopian opals. You’ll see them set in sterling silver, often with 14K or 18K yellow gold accents, and a few in solid gold, sometimes with small diamonds beside the stone.
Carats run from a little over one up past four, in round, oval, pear and freeform cuts, across a wide range of US ring sizes. Opal is a softer stone, so it suits gentle wear. Keep it away from hard knocks and ultrasonic cleaners, and wipe it clean with a soft, damp cloth. Because each opal is natural and one of a kind, the ring you see is the one you’ll receive.
