Moonstone Rings
A small, hand-picked group of moonstone rings, each one handcrafted by Richard Lewis around a single natural moonstone. Moonstone is known for its adularescence, the soft blue light that seems to float across the surface and shift as you tilt your hand. Every stone catches that glow a little differently, so no two rings are the same.
These are set in sterling silver, some with 14K yellow gold accents, in a range of US ring sizes. Moonstone is a relatively soft stone, so it suits gentle everyday wear. Keep it away from hard knocks and harsh chemicals, and wipe it clean with a soft, damp cloth. The ring you see is the exact one-of-a-kind piece you’ll receive.
Moonstone is one of the June birthstones, which makes these rings a thoughtful birthday gift. Not sure of your size? The ring size guide will help, and if you would like a specific stone or setting, Richard takes custom commissions.
What gives moonstone its blue shimmer? It is an optical effect called adularescence, created by the stone’s internal structure scattering light. Is each ring one of a kind? Yes, each is built around a single natural moonstone, so the ring pictured is the one you receive.
