A 4.35-carat Australian opal anchors this pendant, drawn from the Coober Pedy fields of South Australia. Cut as a long pear drop, 30 by 7 millimeters, it stretches the eye downward and flashes a shifting spectrum that changes with every turn of the wrist. A single diamond accent catches the light beside it, set in warm 14K yellow gold that frames the stone’s color. Richard Lewis made it by hand, and this opal pendant is one of a kind, meant to hang as a slender focal piece against the throat.
