Description
This ring puts a substantial round 12.5mm natural abalone pearl front and center in sterling silver. The pearl was gathered from the cold Pacific off Mendocino, California, where abalone form their rare, layered iridescence of blue, green and silver. Each pearl is unique, and Richard Lewis makes every ring by hand in his Santa Rosa studio, so the piece you receive is one of a kind.
At 12.5mm the pearl has real presence on the finger, and the clean silver setting stays out of its way so the natural color play takes over. This abalone pearl ring comes in US sizes 5 through 9. Like all organic pearls it deserves a gentle touch: keep it away from perfume, hairspray and household chemicals, avoid ultrasonic cleaners, and store it apart from harder stones so its surface stays smooth and lustrous.
