Description
This handcrafted abalone pearl ring holds an oval stone, 14 by 12mm, gently elongated to flatter the finger and catch the light along its length. The pearl was found in the cold Pacific waters off Mendocino, California, where it took on the blue, green and silver play that no two abalone pearls ever share. Richard Lewis makes each ring by hand in Santa Rosa, with a clean sterling silver setting that lets the oval’s iridescence carry the design.
Because nature shapes every abalone pearl differently, the ring you receive is one of a kind. It’s made in solid sterling silver and comes in US ring sizes 4.5 through 8.5. Treat the pearl as the soft, organic gem it is: keep it clear of perfume, hairspray and household chemicals, never clean it ultrasonically, and store it apart from harder stones.
