It was drawn from the cold Pacific off Mendocino, California, and it trades the usual blues and greens for cooler lavender shades layered over the silvery iridescence abalone is known for. Richard Lewis handcrafts each ring in his Santa Rosa studio, and with a pearl this distinctive, the piece you get is unmistakably one of a kind.
The oval shape spreads the lavender color play across a longer surface, and the clean sterling silver setting lets those unusual tones show. The ring comes in US sizes 5 through 9. Abalone is a soft, organic gem and needs careful handling.
