The 11.5mm round stone in this abalone pearl ring gives a little extra heft on the finger without losing its easy charm. It was found in the cold Pacific off Mendocino, California, where it developed the blue, green and silver play that tells natural abalone apart from any cultured pearl. Richard Lewis handcrafts each ring in Santa Rosa, set in plain sterling silver so the iridescence reads from across a room.
No two abalone pearls are alike, so this one is unique and your ring is one of a kind. It’s crafted in solid sterling silver and comes in US ring sizes 3 through 7. Abalone is soft and organic, so treat it with care. Keep it away from perfume, hairspray and household chemicals, never use an ultrasonic cleaner, and store it apart from harder stones that could scratch the surface.
