Two small diamonds flank a natural abalone pearl in this handcrafted ring, each set into a touch of 14K white gold that picks up the cool silver flashes within the pearl. The oval pearl measures 13 by 11mm and was found in the Pacific waters off Mendocino, California, where abalone pearls grow rare and never twice alike. The pair of round diamonds totals 0.04 carat, graded VS1 clarity and G color at 1.8mm each, adding a clean sparkle on either side of the iridescent center.

The band itself is solid 14K yellow gold, its warmth balancing the white-gold diamond accents and the pearl’s blue-green shimmer. Richard Lewis makes each piece by hand, so this one is one of a kind. It comes in US ring sizes 3.5 to 7.5. Pearls are organic and soft, so keep yours from perfume, hairspray and chemicals, never use an ultrasonic cleaner, and store it apart from harder stones.
