Abalone Pearl Ring 13mm in Sterling Silver

If you like bigger, bolder jewelry, this abalone pearl ring has a full 13mm round stone. The pearl was found in the cold Pacific off Mendocino, California, and its surface plays through blue, green and silver as the light moves across it. Richard Lewis makes the ring by hand in his Santa Rosa studio, pairing the pearl with a clean sterling silver setting so its scale and color stay the whole story.

Each abalone pearl is shaped by nature alone, so this one can’t be matched and the ring is one of a kind. It’s built in solid sterling silver and comes in US ring sizes 6.5 through 10.5. Abalone is soft and organic, so treat it gently: avoid perfume, hairspray and household chemicals, never use an ultrasonic cleaner, and store it apart from harder stones.
