Description
This ring is built around a round 12mm natural abalone pearl, one of the ocean’s rarest finds. The stone was drawn from the cold Pacific waters off Mendocino, California, and like every abalone pearl it carries a swirl of blue, green and silver that belongs to it alone. Richard Lewis shapes each ring by hand in his Santa Rosa studio, so no two are the same and yours is one of a kind.
The clean lines of the sterling silver setting give the 12mm pearl room, and its color seems to deepen and shift as it catches the light. This ring comes in US sizes 3.75 through 7.75, a useful range for smaller fingers. Abalone is an organic gem, so treat it with care: avoid perfume, hairspray, household chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners, and keep it stored away from harder stones that could scratch its surface.
