A single diamond sits beside a 7mm round natural abalone pearl in this handcrafted ring, its crisp light answering the pearl’s softer shimmer. The round diamond weighs 0.03 carat, graded VS1 clarity and G color at 2mm, and it’s framed by 14K white gold accents that echo the silvery flashes inside the pearl. Found off Mendocino, California, abalone pearls are among the rarest natural pearls, each one carrying its own swirl of blue, green and silver.

The ring is built in sterling silver, so the white gold accents and the diamond read as one cool, bright family of tones around the iridescent center.
