The 11mm round abalone pearl shifts through blue, green and silver as your hand moves, and it was drawn from the cold Pacific off Mendocino, California, one of the few coastlines where these natural pearls turn up. Richard Lewis handcrafts each ring in his Santa Rosa studio and chose a clean sterling silver setting that puts nothing between your eye and the iridescence.
Abalone pearls are formed by nature and never repeated, so this one is unique and the ring is one of a kind. It’s made in solid sterling silver and comes in US ring sizes 3.75 through 7.75. Abalone is an organic, softer gem, so a gentle routine keeps it at its best. Avoid perfume, hairspray and household chemicals, skip the ultrasonic cleaner, and store it away from harder stones.
