Sterling silver and 14K yellow gold accents share this handcrafted ring, their cool and warm contrast set off by a 9mm round natural abalone pearl. Found in Northern California’s cold Pacific waters, abalone pearls are among the rarest natural pearls, each one glinting with its own mix of blues, greens and silvers. The gold accents catch your eye first, then the pearl’s drifting iridescence takes over, with the silver keeping everything grounded.
No two abalone pearls are alike, and Richard Lewis builds each ring by hand, so the one you receive is one of a kind. It comes in US ring sizes 4.75 to 8.75. Abalone is an organic, comparatively soft pearl, so a little care goes a long way. Keep it away from perfume, hairspray and household chemicals, leave it out of ultrasonic cleaners, and store it apart from harder stones to protect its glow.
