Description
This ring has a softer, more elongated profile, with a natural abalone pearl measuring 11 by 9mm cradled in sterling silver. The pearl was found in the cold Pacific off Mendocino, California, and it shows the rolling blues, greens and silvers that make abalone among the rarest of all natural pearls. Richard Lewis handcrafts each ring in Santa Rosa, and since every pearl is different, the one you receive is one of a kind.
The oval orientation flatters the finger and lets the iridescence stretch across a slightly longer surface, so the colors seem to ripple as your hand moves. A simple silver setting keeps everything centered on the stone. This ring comes in US ring sizes 5.5 through 9.5. Abalone is an organic gem, so handle it gently: keep it clear of perfume, hairspray, chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners, and store it apart from harder stones.
