Description
A 2.94-carat Australian opal sits at the heart of this ring, hand-picked from the Coober Pedy fields of South Australia. The oval stone measures 13.5 by 8mm, and its color shifts as the light and your hand move. It’s set in sterling silver with solid 18-karat yellow gold accents, with two flush-set round diamonds (0.04ct total, VS1 clarity, G color) framing the opal on either side. Richard Lewis makes each piece by hand, so no two are exactly alike. It comes in US ring sizes 4.75 to 8.75. Opal is a soft stone, so treat it gently: keep it away from hard knocks and ultrasonic cleaners, and wipe it clean with a soft, damp cloth.
