Each abalone pearl ring is handcrafted by Richard Lewis around a single natural abalone pearl, gathered along the Mendocino coast of California. Abalone pearls are among the rarest natural pearls, and every one carries its own swirl of blue, green and silver, so no two rings are the same. Most are set in clean sterling silver that lets the pearl’s iridescence lead, and some add 14K or 18K gold accents or a small diamond or sapphire.
Shapes run across round, oval, pear and freeform, from delicate 7 and 8mm pearls to bold pieces near 19mm, in a wide span of US ring sizes. Abalone pearls are soft, organic gems, so treat yours gently: keep it away from perfume, hairspray and household chemicals, and store it apart from harder stones. The ring you see is the exact one-of-a-kind piece you’ll receive.
